Tous les bénéfices du  concert de Placebo à Santiago du Chili la semaine dernière iront aux victimes du tremblement de terre.
 
"C'est notre manière de les remercier et de les soutenir" a déclaré Brian Molko lors de leur conférence de presse.

"This is our way of thanking the Chileans, a way to give back our love," said this morning the leader of Placebo, Brian Molko, during his meeting with President Sebastián Piñera in La Moneda, referring to the show held tomorrow at the Movistar Arena, whose total revenue is for the victims of the earthquake.

In return, the president, at the start of a press conference with the whole, presented as one of the bands' most notable of our time. Then followed: "Great musicians, very popular and his latest album is a great contribution to the music of our time."

Beyond the appreciation and the qualifiers, the thought of the meeting was to thank the English trio gesture of donating 100% of their earnings to quake victims.

"After this disaster, the only correct choice is to help Chilean victims," said the singer, who along with his bandmates Stefan Olsdal and Steve Forrest new drummer, the group arrived at the Government House at about 10 hours, two hours after his arrival in the capital. "This is a small effort to go to the aid of these people," says Molko.

For its part, Piñera apologized for not attending the show tomorrow, because you will be in Argentina, but stressed that all children go to the show.

After the meeting, the group started walking down the street with his staff Currency and concert organizers to Teatinos, where he picked up a van that took them to the Sheraton Hotel.

During his brief passage through the center of Santiago, the artists took to sign autographs and greet his shocked fans, who did not expect to encounter with the band in one of the busiest corners of the capital.

The British group is in promoting his latest album titled "Battle For The Sun", for its sixth studio album. It has sold just over 5 thousand tickets for tomorrow's presentation in Santiago.

Placebo's presence in the Palace of Government recalled the visit of artists during the period of President Michele Bachelet, which received singers like Shakira, Miguel Bosé and U2 among others.
