Terry Lynn sera en concert à Paris le 17 septembre au Social Club.

"One of the most exciting debuts heard in ages."   SUNDAY TIMES UK

“Like a mix of MIA, Daft Punk and Jamaican Dancehall. This album is a firecracker from start to finish. Hailing from the Ghettos of Jamaica, Lynn tells tales of real life violence that are so vivid they are almost scary, the electronic beats are as hard as the messages they convey, her sound so fresh it reminds you of the first time you heard Arular by MIA”
Rough Trade Shop (Album of the Week)

‘Kingstonlogic 2.0’, the debut album from Terry Lynn, captures an alternate look at Jamaican culture with the brutal honesty of a camera's lens. Her lyrical revolution is a powerful call for change matched by an equally brilliant musical backdrop, and the unflinching photography of The Afflicted Yard that can be found on her website, in the booklet as well as be seen at her captivating live shows are creating a project unlike anything ever heard of from the island that shakes the world.

The ninth of nine children and only girl in her family, Terry grew up a tomboy. It was a tough upbringing in the tough neighbourhood of Waterhouse. She met producer and creative partner Phred in this environment and they bonded over a common goal of doing things differently and challenging the system of what defines Jamaican music. Terry agreed to take the years needed to create something entirely different, working outside the repetitive system of pogo-stick dance-hall. Phred would send Terry new sounds encouraging her to write openly and instinctively about the life swirling around her, while re-working songs with international producers such as Switzerland's Wildlife! and France's Olivier Giacomotto. Currently hot in the blog-world is a Terry Lynn vs Crystal Castle Remix.
The latest collaboration saw TERRY LYNN team up with one of the world’s hippest producers of the moment, Sweden’s RADIOCLIT and record 6 tracks for a world wide RED STRIPE (beer) campaign where those tracks will be given away for free during the summer in Europe.
A European tour is currently being planned for September / October, with one off appearances between May and August in Germany, France, Benelux (more to be added).
