‘E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D Live at the Barbican’, is a digital recording of the critically acclaimed performance E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D. Featuring an e-x-p-a-n-d-e-d 35-piece band made up of brass, strings, percussion, voices, electronics, glass, magnetic resonator piano, ultra-low bass singers.
Available in two three-dimensional physical formats with artwork by the band: a Limited Edition CD and a Deluxe Double Vinyl Gatefold LP with white vinyl and printed inner sleeves.
The Vinyl is limited to 2000 copies worldwide available via the Vinyl Factory.
These New Puritans will perform TNP E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D for the final time this year, featuring stargaze and conductor André de Ridder, at The Rest Is Noise Festival, Muziekgebouw, Amsterdam on 19 September. Support comes from Fennesz, Emptyset, Holly Herndon & Kassem Mosse.
On September 9th, a 20-minute film of E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D live at the Barbican will receive its premiere at the London Short Film Festival as part of a programme that also includes Chris Morris’s My Wrongs #8245–8249 & 117.
